The Islamic Center of Northwest Florida is located at 3445 E Johnson Ave in Pensacola, Florida. This mosque serves as a spiritual and community hub, offering five daily prayers, Friday congregational prayers, and weekly Halaqa (study circles) sessions for both men and women. Additionally, the mosque runs a weekend school for children to provide structured learning and nurture Islamic values. The center is designed to be inclusive, offering amenities such as wheelchair-accessible facilities and parking. It aims to create a welcoming environment for all attendees, fostering spiritual growth and community engagement through various activities and events
Sheikh Imam Hosny Ibrahim, originally from Egypt, is the current imam at the Islamic Center of Northwest Florida in Pensacola. He graduated from Al-Azhar University, one of the most prestigious Islamic universities in the world. Sheikh Hosny leads prayers and provides religious guidance to the community. He is also known for promoting interfaith dialogue and community outreach, actively participating in events such as open houses to engage with the broader community and address questions about Islam
